Rabbi Yehuda Kavodi

Rabbi of Congregation Toras Emes in Dallas, Texas. Also known as the "Super Shul," Toras Emes is the synagogue Zaph attends and is run by Rav Kavodi. Toras Emes is known for housing a large number of Jews with superpowers.

The entire congregation was given abilities over the course of Pesach one year. The day before Pesach, Rav Kavodi and the board members of Toras Emes were checking the shul for Chametz.

During their search, they discovered a gem and not having time to deal with it, placed it in the locked chametz cupboard in the kitchen. The board members, with Rav Kavodi, went to look at the gem after Pesach.

When they opened the cupboard they discovered a strange looking creature who named himself "Pesach Jim," because he was found during Pesach and he was literally a living gem.

Pesach Jim had the ability to awaken super abilities in people but his abilities were beyond his control. Over the course of Pesach, he inadvertently activated superpowers in the congregants.

Eventually, Pesach Jim left the synagogue and his current whereabouts are unknown. Jews with Super Powers tend to prefer davening at Toras Emes so it always has a collection of interesting people.

Rabbi Kavodi guides his congregants in Torah learning, davening, and through life's ups and downs. He mentors Zaph as a member of his congregation. Rabbi Kavodi's powers are mysterious to nearly everyone.
